The goal of this training is to provide an introduction to the purpose, objective, organization, responsibilities of a DSMB and statistical concepts leveraged in DSMB deliberations.

The target audience is new DSMB members with a minimum knowledge of DSMBs or individuals interested in obtaining a basic introduction to DSMBs.In order toaward IACET continuing education units, this training will include a competencytest after each module. Participants need to achieve a minimum score of80% on each post-test to receive a total of 1.0 continuing education units forcompletion of all three modules.
